OFFICIAL RECYCLING BIN ROLL-OUT!

2ND WEEK OF OCTOBER!

When the citywide recycling program was announced last year, Danny Solis immediately asked the Department of Streets and Sanitation what the roll-out timeline would be for the 25th Ward. Danny Solis posted that the Pilsen/Heart of Chicago communities in particular would expect to receive bins and begin pick-up in September through October 2013. Residents and businesses will be receiving a postcard from the City of Chicago alerting of the new recycling program as well as a package of helpful information.  Please be aware that there are still many parts of the city that have not yet serviced with recycling efforts. This is a major city-wide undertaking and many communities are part of the final phase roll-out. Should you have any questions or concerns, please email The 25th Ward’s staff directly at ward25chicago@gmail.com.
